Somatic Trauma Support
based on Somatic Experiencing (SE) ® by Dr Peter Levine
I am currently in my third final year of training to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). In my work, I find this pillar an important enrichment, because behind all physical issues there can always be a psychophysiological origin in the nervous system, where it can be worth looking and solving it in combination with the three pillars/methods I offer.
Somatic Experiencing (SE) focuses on tracking bodily sensations and impulses, emotions, inner images, thoughts and beliefs. Other components are the activation of resources, commuting between traces of trauma in the body and resources, centering and grounding, picking up on body impulses and taking small steps. Through such renegotiation on a physical, mental, and emotional level, trauma-induced freeze can thus shift from “I cannot” to “I can” into a new experience of agency.
The session takes place as a conversation.
Physical touch is an option in moments, as long as it makes sense and is desired.
Until the end of the training, I offer individual sessions at a reduced price based on a minimum amount of 45 Euro or more
